Indian Institue of Technology, Dhanbad has recently announced the recruitment of 73 vacancies of Junior Assitant in the institute campus. The online applications for the JA vacancies were accepted from 15 July to 31 August 2021. Only those candidates will be called for the recruitment selection process who have submitted a valid online registration form before the last date. If the board finds any candidate ineligible for the desired vacancy then it will not include that candidate in the selection process.
The selection of the JA will be based on the performance of the candidates in the written examination that’s why it becomes more important for the candidates to get the correct admit card. The Junior Assistant Exam Date has not been released by the board official yet but it will be soon available with the full schedule of the test.

IIT Dhanbad Junior Assistant Selection Process 2022
The IIT Dhanbad has posted detailed selection process criteria in its official notification. The applicants will have to undergo various examinations steps to get the job of Junior Assistant in the institute. To know more about the selection process please read the below-given details carefully.
Phase-1: Written Test – The first step in the Junior Assistant selection process is a written examination of 100 marks which will be qualifying in nature. The question paper will contain 100 Multiple Choice Type Questions (MCQs). The questions will be from the subjects of the candidate, he/she has read in the previous class.
Phase-2: Trade Test – All those candidates who have passed the written test will be called for the trade test or typing test. A total of 7300 candidates are allowed to take the trade test. The typing test is also qualifying in nature. Applicants have to attain the minimum required marks to pass this test.
Phase-3: Mains Exam – After passing through this lengthy and tiresome selection process, the applicants will finally reach this phase where two other exams are waiting for them. The main exam will consist of a Written Exam and Computer Proficiency Test.
Written Test – 80 Marks
Computer Proficiency Test (CPT)– 20 Marks
The candidates will be selected on the basis of their marks in the Mains exam. The marks of previous steps will not be counted for the merit list preparation.

- Click on the document and download it to take out a print of it.
- Carry this print to the examination hall and contact the board office if you face any problem while downloading the admit card.
